I really miss my iPod. Now that I have a new laptop I literally have zilch music!

One of my closest friends Azura left to move to Sydney for university yesterday. I was one of the lucky ones who got to see her before she left. We spent her last day in Brisbane doing what we usually do.. watched Greys, ate unhealthy amounts of Nutella out of the jar with spoons and made nachos with extremely equal proportioned layers. I really will miss her <3

Sorry to be an emo, but tonight sucks. I was meant to be at Burleigh until Saturday so I didn’t buy a La Dispute ticket for the Burst City show today. It eventually turned out that I had to come home early yesterday to get some University things done and help Mum out with a few things, so I am now sitting here waiting for people to text me about how good it was. So I am currently on the 72nd out of 74 floors at QI Hotel, and there is a storm going on. Yesterday the lightening hit the top of the building, so I am actually feeling a little nervous again. I want to try and get a photo of the lightening
First few days away have been amazing. There is an old school arcade machine in our hotel room that has over 1000 games! Space Invaders and Galaga have become my forte. I am fairly sure my eyeballs got sunburnt at the coast yesterday. They sting so incredibly badly! Such a lovely touch to my already red face and sunglasses tan.
I go away for 2 weeks on Monday. I feel slightly guilty because I want to stay here and volunteer to clean up the destruction the floods caused. Hopefully when I come back it will be the best time to start helping out, because from the looks of it they will be cleaning up for months and months to come. Anyway, despite that I am real excited for my vacation away with my family, and then camping...
